October 2, 2012 by Amir Aribokill Leave a Comment

Low Carb Recipe Needs

  • Pizza Sauce
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp Parsley
  • Salt & Pepper 1 tblsp each
  • 1/2 Cup diced jalapeno’s
  • Italian or French Seasoning 1 tsp
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Any Cheese (shredded)
  • Green Bell Peppers
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes (save the juice)
*PREHEAT OVEN TO 350F

Cut the Peppers

Cut the peppers from the top and gut them. Take out the seeds and clean them completely. Throw the tops away.

Cut the Garlic & Mix the Spices

Cut the garlic into little pieces. Add the herbs/seasoning and spices with the garlic.

Cooking the Ingredients

Put the ground beef in the frying pan with the mixed spices. Drain the diced tomatoes and add them with the olive oil into the pan. Put the jalapeno’s in the frying pan as well. Drain  of liquids and reserve.

Stuff the Peppers

After the mixture is cooked, leave it aside and let it cool. Once it’s cool enough to handle, add the mixture to the pepper with a spoon. Fill the peppers about 1/3rd the way full.

Adding the Pizza Sauce & Cheese

Once all the peppers are 1/3rd the way stuffed, it’s time to add the pizza sauce. Put a tablespoon of pizza sauce on top of each pepper. Now add as much of the cheeses as you want until the pepper is covered to the top. Press down with a spoon to compact the stuffing.

Cooking the peppers

Place the peppers in an appropriate size cooking dish. Add all the reserved tomato puree and liquid to the dish. Place the peppers into the dish standing up. Place into the oven until the cheese begins to brown. Serve and enjoy!!
