Your Weight Loss Resolution Doesn’t Start in the Gym

Gyms get filled every January with people who like want to lose weight. Unfortunately, we already know that from study after study showing marginal or non-existant weight loss from exercise programs.

In fact, here’s a new a a new survey of 8,000 people in 8 countries. America does the most exercise, yet Americans have the biggest problems with obesity.

Obesity is not caused by a lack of exercise. Much more important is the quality of your food, which determines how much you want to eat. Hormones are responsible for how your body regulated weight. Eating the wrong food will trigger an undesirable hormonal response. A good New Years resolution for weight loss is to fix up your diet.

Exercise is almost useless for weight loss, but definitely has many amazing benefits for health and longevity. Especially if you want to look and feel great!
