Homemade Deodorant Ingredients
- Baking Soda
- Perfume/cologne
- Oil (Coconut oil is best)
- Cornstarch
Adding the Ingredients
This homemade deodorant is really simple and extremely effective. Add all the ingredients in equal parts. If you’re making a small batch, do 2 tablespoons of each ingredient, except for the fragrance. As for the fragrance, just add as much as you’d like. One spray should be enough. If you would like to make a huge batch, just increase the equal parts.
Storing Your Homemade Deodorant
Storage is pretty easy. Find any small container and simply put the mixture in it. You can put it in a cup for all it matters. Scoop it out with a wooden ice cream spoon or your finger to apply. This stuff lasts forever, so don’t even stress yourself with shelf life.
Using Your Homemade Deodorant
Apply a good amount under your arm. If the texture is a little too thick for your liking, add an extra teaspoon of coconut oil until it’s as soft as you’d like it. Just remember that coconut oil turns solid at room temperature! This stuff is so strong that you can go on for a week or even more with no smell at all! Of course I don’t recommend it! I’d like for my readers to shower a little more than that, haha.
