What’s More Important, Love or Money?

April 1, 2014 by Amir Aribokill Leave a Comment

Before we go all out, let’s see if we can define what love is first. Love is a strong, emotional attachment to something. When people are with someone they love or are doing something they love, they feel incredible joy. However, this is a double edged sword. If that person loses the person or thing that causes them immense joy, they become extremely depressed.

Conversely, when one loves, they are now emotionally dependent on the person or activity, almost like an addiction. It’s important to note that the dependency isn’t all across the boards, only specific to a certain emotion felt with the person or activity.  This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s something people really need to be aware of when they commit to someone or something emotionally.

Money

Money is the means to medium we use get resources. We trade it for the things we need. This sounds simple enough, but without money, so much can go wrong. Financial issues can cause stress, starvation, mal-nutrition, inadequate healthcare, etc. The list goes on.

Money without love is an empty existence, but the reality is that love without money doesn’t exist. Marriages are broken up through the lack of money, friends become enemies over financial situations and scarcity of money creates competition.

Money Wins

No matter how you look at it, money is responsible for creating opportunities in life. With limited money, you have limited resources, plain and simple. The more resources you have, the more options and freedom you have in your life. Money is will open up many opportunities for love, but with the lack of money, love is hardly sustainable.
