Conventional store bought mayonnaise contain unhealthy fats and preservatives. Canola oil and soybean oil are highly inflammatory omega-6 industrial seed oils. The preservatives that are added to store bought mayonnaise which give it the amazing shelf life and keep it fresh outside of refrigeration are also questionable.
My homemade mayonnaise is made with cold pressed olive oil, fresh organic lemon, free range organic egg yolk, salt and pepper. No hidden ingredients and no questionable preservative added.
Since my mayonnaise is preservative-free, it must be refrigerated at all times and is only good for about 2 weeks.
Every mayonnaise is made to order. That means I will not make your jar of mayonnaise until you have ordered it. I usually make it the same day as pick up. (depending on ingredient availability).
When an order is ready for pick up, instructions will be mailed out to the buyer. As of right now, my homemade mayonnaise is only available in the greater NYC area. Bulk orders are available as well.
