The article above goes into the growing concern about sugar and it’s long term effects. Think about it, heart disease, obesity and diabetes are growing at an alarming rate compared to lung cancer. Sugar is almost in everything. Smoking on the other hand, is not as available.
The fact that sugar is in most foods should be enough to draw attention over tobacco. It’s a shame so many have to suffer from diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and a ton of other bullshi’t because the USA has let a culture of low fat, high carb/sugar run loose.
Not only have they let the sugar bullshi’t run loose, but they refuse to do anything about changing it. After all, pharmaceutical companies benefit the most from cholesterol medications, hypertension meds, and insulin for diabetics.
To make things worse, sugars and grains have shitty nutritional value. Why are we even eating them? For entertainment? That’s what TV is for. We can no longer trust the people we were suppose to for health. We have to now do our own research and fend for ourselves. Keep your heads up people.
